crazed for zinnias

I just plopped my State Fair zinnias in the garden.....I LOVE these flowers.....so grand and stately at over 3 feet tall......with fantastic painterly colors to boot! I just wish they didn't take so long to bloom!

So, you will find me the next few weeks doting over these little sprouts like a mother hen.

I have already lost 2 of these precious little seedlings to naughty chickens....who can't seem to resist scratching around in newly turned soil.

hello,
I love the pigs. And this blog and the art is wonderful I have a dear friend who had a pig as her pet in Pennsylvania. Pigs are so sweet. I love animals too. And the chickens are so cute. Please visit with our friends at my on line journal, Robin Sherwood frecklefarm.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
best
Robin

Jennifer, you've got some naughty girls! They are just like mine though ~ they seem to find every bit of freshly dug soil on the place!

Your zinnia painting is gorgeous and I can't wait to see your real ones.
