I so love silly farm signs

Ever so fickle...every so often I get that itch that I must scratch. Thou, it usually more like a string on a sweater, that once you pull the darn thing it all comes undone.
I'm sure it's a phenomenon everyone encounters in their lifetime.
"oh, I'll just move this chair over here to change up the room a bit". Next thing you know you have repositioned  every piece of furniture in the room around to accommodate that one chair. This is usually accompanied by dragging, pushing, huffing, puffing, a myriad of four-letter words (some new ones I think I have invented)...and later arrives the well deserved  back pain.

Why, oh why is it so hard to leave well enough alone?
My mother hasn't changed her living spaces in 20 years and she seems perfectly content...hmmm, or does she just know better?

So in my own ill-conceived defense I did live with my barn studio for 10 years before an overhaul.
A new wall color ...I ditched the purple walls for a dreamy, French gray.  Added a backdrop of white painted pine for my back wall. And a brighter checkerboard for the floor.
Ceiling fan blades were even transformed with some chrome spray paint.
That was actually the easy part.

Let the dragging commence.
A tricky balance between aesthetics and functionality...worktables, drying racks and doo-hickys had to make sense...as this  is technically a workspace.

So I pulled the thread...I am just hoping I can get another 10 years before another itch.

I think we all do that changing around stuff I call it putzing. SO much work but so nice in the end.

Yup! This is my workspace/studio...
Yes, I do alot of putzing myself! This was a mega-putz! I guess it is necessary from time to time.
